about the friends

The Tracy Friends of the Library is a non-profit organization that raises money to support the Tracy Branch Library. Each year, the Tracy Friends provides more than $20,000 for the purchase of books and materials as well as for library programs, such as children's storytime, the summer reading program, and senior outreach visits. Book Sale

The Tracy Friends of the Library sells some of its most interesting titles online through Amazon. See what's available.

The Tracy Friends of the Library also holds a book sale in the Wadsworth Room during regular library hours. You will find a variety of titles for adults, teens, and children. The selections change frequently, so check out the sale every time you visit. We ask for a suggested donation of fifty cents to a dollar per item, which you place in the box at the Check Out desk.

You can also donate your new or used books to help our Book Sale. Please see the Rules for Donating Books.

You never know what you might find at the Book Sale.
