Tracy Friends to Meet on February 16th

The Tracy Friends of the Library will hold their next meeting on Thursday, Feb. 16 at 7:00 p.m. We will discuss the efforts by the City of Tracy to negotiate with San Joaquin County and the City of Stockton to take over administration of the Tracy Library.

Under the current system, the City of Stockton runs the Tracy Library with money from the County. The City of Tracy is proposing to take over the library and possibly contract out its operations. We encourage you to read the newspaper articles about this effort. See links under News in the Spotlight.

Please e-mail us at info@tracyfriends.org if you want to be kept informed about this issue.

Book Sale

The Tracy Friends of the Library sells some of its most interesting titles online through Amazon. See what's available.

The Tracy Friends of the Library also holds a book sale in the Wadsworth Room during regular library hours. You will find a variety of titles for adults, teens, and children. The selections change frequently, so check out the sale every time you visit. We ask for a suggested donation of fifty cents to a dollar per item, which you place in the box at the Check Out desk.

You can also donate your new or used books to help our Book Sale. Please see the Rules for Donating Books.
